Product Manager (Cash Forecasting & Liquidity) (m/f/d)

As a Product Manager for Cash Forecasting & Liquidity, you will act as the bridge between deep financial domain expertise and product innovation. We are looking for a practitioner who has hands-on experience building forecasts, managing liquidity, and navigating the messiness of corporate treasury and would love to productize that knowledge.

You will work hand-in-hand with the Head of Product and closely with our Engineering team to encode financial logic into Flow. Your goal is to ensure that Flow doesn’t just "do math," but actually reasons like a treasurer, understanding payment runs, intercompany relationships, and the behavioral drivers behind cash movements.

You will work backwards from the customer, validating your hypotheses against real-world data and workflows. You will define how Flow builds a forecast, how it detects variance, and how it explains its findings to a CFO, ensuring our solution is practical, scalable, and deeply trusted by finance professionals.

What you will do

  • Translate customer requirements into product enhancements by validating hypotheses directly with finance teams. You use real data to ensure the solution solves the actual operational headache, not just the theoretical one.

  • Turn complex cash forecasting workflows into intuitive product experiences, starting with direct cash forecasting and evolving toward long-term liquidity planning.

  • Work closely with Engineering to encode specific finance decision behaviors into Flow (e.g., defining exactly how Flow should react to variances or how intercompany settlements impact liquidity) and to turn customer requirements into shipped capabilities, defining clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and success metrics.

  • Run deep discovery with finance teams to map real-world workflows, identify unmet needs, and validate solutions through rapid prototyping before scaling them.

  • Act as the first line of defense for quality, challenging the outputs of the AI to ensure they make financial sense (e.g., identifying structural errors in logic, checking for missing liquidity levers, or spotting "plausible but wrong" AI hallucinations).

What we are looking for

  • Relevant professional hands-on experience in Treasury, FP&A, or Finance Operations. You have built cash forecasts and liquidity plans yourself, you know where the data breaks, and you understand the pressure of reporting liquidity to stakeholders.

  • You understand the difference between direct and indirect forecasting methods, and you know how to bridge the gap between operational cash views and accounting-based planning.

  • You understand the mechanics of the back-office, such as approval workflows, payment runs, open item management, bank integrations, and intercompany netting. You know why key financial figures change and what it means, not just how to calculate it.

  • You are eager to productize your domain expertise, working in a product-led environment, where you translate complex financial logic and data flows into scalable software features rather than just one-off analyses

  • Fluent German (spoken and written) is required, and ideally, you are based in Munich or Heilbronn with 40%+ on-site presence or openness for occasional travel.

What we offer

  • Help apply agentic AI to real-world financial problems, reshaping how finance teams operate and make decisions.

  • Work with a modern, evolving tech stack, where we continuously explore, evaluate, and adopt the best tools for the job - including an internal agent force.

  • Join an ambitious, collaborative team that values curiosity, ownership, and low ego over hierarchy.

  • Take a central, hands-on role in shaping how customers experience our product during a critical growth phase.

  • Grow with a product-first, early-stage startup, offering competitive compensation, equity, and long-term upside.

If that sounds like you, we’re looking forward to chatting with you.
